SMALLPOX.
There were no cases of Smallpox during 1935.
I am obliged to the Vaccination Officer for the following information:—Number
of successful vaccinations during 1935, 475; number of
declarations of conscientious objection to vaccination, 771.
DIABETES.
With the approval of the Ministry of Health, Insulin was supplied
to 8 patients suffering from Diabetes. The number of units amounted
to 89,680 and the cost was £29 5s. 2d. Reports upon the progress of the
cases were furnished to the Ministry according to their requirements.
