HOSPITALS.
The observations relating to hospitals made in the 1932 Report are
equally applicable to the year 1934.
HEALTH WEEK.
The school teachers prepared a booklet which appealed to school
children of all ages. For the younger children there were tests in
handwork; for the older children crossword puzzle and essays. Diet
was the main theme discussed. Prizes were awarded to the successful
candidates in the essay competition.
POOR LAW RELIEF.
The following information has been kindly supplied by the Local
Public Assistance Officer and the Director of Public Assistance:—
