Tuberculosis Dispensary.
Annual Report of Tuberculosis Officer.

The routine work of the Dispensary has been continued
throughout the year. The First and Third Schedules, showing
the details of the work done, have been completed as required by
the Ministry of Health.

Tuberculosis of Lungs.
Diagnosis. A close study of the history of illness, clinical
examination and observation with sputum tests are the chief means
of establishing a diagnosis. X-Ray examination is not a routine
measure, but is reserved for certain cases presenting unusual
features. Fifty-five examinations were made either at the London
Hospital or by Dr. Leggatt, of Romford Road, Forest Gate.
