MASS RADIOGRAPHY
The Mass Radiography Unit visited sites in the
Borough during the year and I am indebted to the Director of the Unit
for the following statistics:-
Total x-rayed 5420 (6930)
Males 2380 (3630)
Females 3040 (3300)
As a result of these investigations 3 (1) men were
found to be suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis and 1 (2) man and
1 woman from cancer of the lung.
