(b) A dealer's (pre-packed milk) licence has been introduced which
permits the sale of all three kinds of specially designated milk, where the
milk is obtained by the dealer in the container in which it is to be supplied
to the consumer, or is pasteurised or sterilised by the dealer,
(c) The period for which a dealer's licence will be granted has now been
extended from one year to five years,
All milk distributors in the Borough are licensed to use the special
designation in relation to the milk retailed.
Routine inspections of the milk pasteuriser's and distributors'
premises reveal that the provisions of the regulations are generally well
observed.

The following licences authorising the use of special designations were issued during the year and expire on the,31st December, 1965:-

To comply with the Milk (Special Designation) Regulations 1960,
samples of 'Pasteurised' and 'Tuberculin Tested' Milk on arrival at the
testing laboratory shall at once be removed from the insulated container
and stored as follows.-
