(3) FIRST MAINTENANCE TREATMENT.
The first maintenance treatment of those sewers found to
be infested during the initial treatment was completed on the
27th November, 1947.

Pre-baiting with damped bread-crumbs was carried out on two consecutive days, and the same bait-base with 10% Arsenicus Oxide added was laid on the third day with the following re suits:-
