The presence of the Bacillus Coli in samples Nos. 3, 10 and 12
was investigated and the cause attributed to a post-pasteurisation
feature. A subsequent sample proved negative.

All these premises, together with vehicles used by
purveyors, were inspected during the Season.
MEAT AND OTHER FOODS.
The 54 butchers' shops within the Borough have
been inspected and observation kept upon the vehicles
used for the conveyance of meat, with the result that
it had been found that the provisions of the Public
Health (Meat) Regulations have been generally well
observed. Necessary action was taken in 18 cases
