In general, it can be said that this somewhat experimental method of treatment has proved very
successful and it is hoped that it may be extended toin involve other groups of patients in the future.
These improvements in the speech therapy service in Brent have been made possible by the involvement
of all the therapists working in the Borough. It is hoped that the increase in the establishment to include
three more full-time therapists and one more part-time therapist, will enable a further extension of the service
in 1972.
