(d) Hospitals—
The Hospital facilities available for the use of Chiswiek
residents are set out in Section II of this Report.
I am indebted to Miss c. M. Sutherland, the
deservedly popular Matron of the Chiswiek General Hospital,
for the under-mentioned particulars relating to that Hospital,
where the treatment is wholly gratuitous:—
Number of beds in Hospital 42
Number of In-Patients treated during

Number of Out-Patients treated
(principally accidents) during 1925 1,858
Particulars of relief afforded by the Chiswiek and
Turnham Green Dispensary are not available, neither the
extent to which treatment is sought for at the London
Hospitals, but reference to the list of page 10, will show that
many of these Institutions are used by Chiswiek residents.
