the Divisional Inspector. Mr. Marley was very helpful at Workable Area
Meetings during the year, when much discussion took place on the "Prevention
of Damage by Pests" Bill.
Petroleum (Regulation) Acts, 1928 and 1936.
Fifty-two licences were renewed at the beginning of the year and five
new licences were granted.
Game Licences.
Eleven licences to deal in game were renewed, and one new licence
wasgranted.
SHops Act, 1934.
Ninety-five visits were made under this Act, and no notices were served.
Essex County Council Act, 1933—
Passage and Special Treatment Establishments.
As previously, the Sanitary Inspectors have carried out inspections to
these premises, and all have been found to be quite satisfactory. Thirty-five
list, bringing the total premises to twelve.
TRAINING Scheme for Sanitary Inspectors.
The training scheme for ex-service personnel, approved by the Ministers
of Health, Education and Labour, came to an end during the year, the
Scheme having served the purpose for which it was designed.
