Unsound carcases and meat surrendered and destroyed following
inspection totalled twenty-seven stone; other unsound food totalled 168
pounds.
Other Food Premises.—Four hundred and eighty-four visits were made
to other premises in which food is prepared, stored or exposed for sale.
Cleanliness and repair on these premises was well maintained and necessary
requirements received due attention.
Bakehouses.—There are fourteen bakehouses in the district; two of
these are underground bakehouses. Sixty-two inspections were made
and the provisions of the Bakehouse Regulations were observed satisfactorily.
