CLEAN AIR ACT, 1956.
The measurement of Smoke and Sulphur Dioxide in the atmosphere
of the district was continued during the year by means of a daily
volumetric apparatus at the Council Offices, and a Lead Dioxide
candle sited, on the roof of the London County Council Housing Office,
Chigwell Lane, Loughton.
