The following results were received on samples of ice-cream manufactured outside the District:—

The samples reported upon above were taken from all four
Wards in the District, from all kinds of premises and types of
vehicles. In every instance the samples were delivered to the
Public Health Laboratories in Victoria Street, London, S.W.L
within three hours of being taken.
Unsatisfactory samples were investigated and sales stopped
where necessary. Follow-up samples were taken in every case.
The standard of ice-cream remains unaltered and is as shown
in last year's report.
The County Council submit samples for chemical examination
and the analyist has reported on 22, which were all
genuine.
