Infantile Mortality.

As we have no information transmitted to us with regard to some of the births which occur outside the district, and are subsequently transferred in, it is not possible with absolute accuracy to work out the comparative rates of infant mortality for each ward in the Borough, but as far as this is possible with the figures available, and they may be taken as a fairly reliable indication, the numbers of infant deaths and the rates per thousand of the births occuring within the various wards are appended.
