RESULT OF SERVICE OF NOTICES.
(1) Legal Proceedings.
Legal proceedings were instituted against the owner of a dwelling house
for failing to comply with an Abatement Notice. The case, which was heard in
the owner's absence, was proved, and £5.15.6. costs were imposed, and an
Abatement Order made. The Order was not complied with, and the work was
carried out by the Local Authority in default, and the owner paid the cost of
the works.
(2) Nuisances abated and defects remedied.
