Typhoid Fever.
One patient, a man aged 30 years, was admitted from a local
hospital as a suspected case of typhoid fever. The diagnosis was
not confirmed.
Eighteen patients were admitted to the hospital as cases of measles, and were diagnosed as follows:—
Uncomplicated measles | 10 |
Measles and pneumonia | 6 |
Measles and whooping-cough | 1 |
Erythema multiform | 1 |

Scarlet Fever.
Of the 45 patients admitted as cases of scarlet fever, 41 were
finally diagnosed as suffering from this disease. Two patients were
found to be suffering from tonsillitis, and two from measles.
