Sanitary Inspection of District.—The following is a statement showing the number and nature of inspections made for the year 1945: —

Notices Served.—One thousand four hundred and fourteen preliminary
notices or intimations were served during the year.
It was found necessary to serve one hundred and forty-two
Statutory Notices.
Legal proceedings were taken against one owner for failure to
comply with an Abatement Notice. An order was made by the
Court for the work to be carried out within twenty eight days.
