TUBERCULOSIS.
Sixty-seven cases of tuberculosis wore notified. This
figure shows a decrease of six on the number for the previous year.
The deaths from tuberculosis were six fewer than in 1939, the
total figure being twenty-six.
Twenty-three of these were due to pulmonary tuberculosis.
During 1940, forty-seven Wimbledon patients were admitted to
sanatoria or hospitals.
