TUBERCULOSIS.
Seventy-three cases of tuberculosis were notified. This
figure shows an increase of twenty-two on the number for the
previous year.
The deaths from tuberculosis were one more than in 1938, the
total figure being thirty-two.
Twenty-six of these were due to pulmonary tuberculosis.
During 1339, forty-nine Wimbledon patients were admitted
to sanatoria or hospitals.
