Visits were paid to the Nursery by the Chairman of the
Wimbledon Maternity and Child Welfare Committee and the Medical
Officer of Health as circumstances permitted.
Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1927. Public Health Act, 1956
Part VI.
The Wimbledon Borough Council is responsible for the supervision
of nursing homes in Vimbledon. At the end of the year there were
sixteen registered nursing homes.
Fifty-seven visits of inspection were made.

Notices Served.-one thousand two hundred and seventy-six
preliminary notices or intimations were served during the year.
It was found necessary to serve three hundred Statutory
Notices.
