PREVALENCE OF, AND CONTROL OVER, INFECTIOUS
DISEASES.
The incidence of the notifiable infectious diseases was
considerably less than in 1930. Seventy-five cases of scarlet

preceding year. The notifications of diphtheria amounted to
seventy-four, and were sixty-six less than in 1930.
In both the diseases the illness was of a relatively mild
type. In fact, there were no deaths in Wimbledon from
either disease during 1931.
