General Provision of Health Services in the Area.
(a) Hospitals provided or subsidised by the Local Authority or
the Surrey County Council: —
(1) Tuberculosis.—Most Wimbledon patients suffering
from pulmonary tuberculosis are admitted to the
Sanatorium at Milford which is under the administration
of the Surrey County Council. The majority
of the cases of surgical tuberculosis are sent to
St. Anthony's Hospital, Cheam, or similar institutions.
