ANNUAL REPORT
OF THE
SCHOOL MEDICAL OFFICER
FOR THE
Year Ended 31st December, 1923.
To the Members of the Education Committee
of the Borough of Wimbledon.
Mr. Chairman, Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to submit my Annual Report on the
Medical Inspection and Treatment of School Children in the
Wimbledon area for the year ending 31st December, 1923.
The Report has been prepared on the lines suggested by
the Chief Medical Officer of the Board of Education in 1920.
The Board of Education have also issued in Circular 1321,
dated 27th December, 1923, revised Medical Statistical Tables,
and the Tables for 1923 have been prepared as far as possible
in accordance with instructions in that Circular.
Co-ordination.
During 1923 the scheme of Medical Inspection and Treatment
of school children was altered in order to secure closer
co-ordination with (a) Infant and Child Welfare Work (b) with
the Teachers.
