First attendances number 5,292 against 4,301 in 1945, and
re-attendances 10,257 against 8,514, the total attendances being
15,449 against 12,815.
(d) Visual Defects and External Eye Diseases.—Dr. Sheppard
has kindly contributed the following account of the work done
during 1946:—
There were 516 new cases seen at the Eye Clinic during 1946
and these, as well as the ordinary periodical inspections, made 2,856 attendances.
