The rules applicable thereto and the conditions laid down by the
Ministry were strictly observed and the animal was subsequently
removed to another area under similar Licence.
Sheep Scab Order, 1920.—No cases of this disease have been
found in the Borough but 66 sheep and lambs were admitted, under
Licence, for slaughter.
Swine Fever Orders of 1908-1917.—Owing to improvements in
the aSected areas the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries withdrew
the restrictions imposed by the Orders on the 5th March.
Regulation of Movement of Swine Order, 1922.—Under this
Order 894 pigs have been admitted into this area for slaughter. All
notices of such movements have been, as far as practicable, followed
np.
Tuberculosis Order, 1925.—Following Incorporation your
Council assumed the powers under this Order, but, by special request,
the County Council carried on the work until March 18th, 1930. No
case was reported during the year.
Poisons and Pharmacy Act, 1908.—One Licence was granted
under this Act during the year.
