During 1940 a total number of 1,026 children attended at the Diphtheria Prevention Clinics (691 at the
Newbury Hall and 335 at Mayesbrook), making a total number of attendances of 4,691 (3,125 and 1,566),
with an average per session of 61 and 30 respectively.
