During 1939 a total number of 1,607 children attended at the Diphtheria Prevention Clinics (914 at the
Public Health Offices and 663 at Mayesbrook), making a total number of attendances of 5,961 (3,717 and
2,244), with an average per session of 103 and 56 respectively.
