Two new Karriers were purchased in 1939 and two old S.D. Freighters
disposed of. There are 5 Vulcans, 10 Freighters, 4 Karriers and 3 Dennis
engaged upon Refuse Collection.
Arrangements are in force whereby a special daily collection of refuse is
made from Claybury Mental Hospital, and on 3 days weekly from the West
Ham Mental Hospital.

Of the profit made, 75 per cent. is credited to Removal of House Refuse
Costs, and 25 per cent, paid in bonus to the men engaged.
