ISOLATION HOSPITAL.
662 patients were admitted during 1936, as compared with
558 in 1935, 706 in 1934, 569 in 1933, 422 in 1932, and 421 in 1931.
86.8 per cent, of the cases of diphtheria and 75.9 per cent, of
scarlet fever occurring in the district (excluding those cases treated
at the Institutions at which they were notified, or were transferred
to other Isolation Hospitals) were admitted to the hospital.
The following table shows the percentage of cases of diphtheria and scarlet fever occurring in the district, removed to the hospital during the past ten years.
