MATERNITY HOME.
48 patients were admitted direct to the Surgical Block ; 22 of
these patients were confined therein, 11 were admitted for treatment
and subsequently re-admitted to the Ward Blocks for
confinement; the other 15 cases were not confined.
In addition, 57 other patients were transferred to the Surgical
Block from the Ward Blocks after confinement for various
reasons.
The patients were admitted to the Home from the following
wards :—
Barkingside 96
North Hainault 104
Cranbrook 32
Park 56
Seven Kings 73
South Hainault 53
Loxford 81
Clementswood 83
Goodmayes 69
82 cases could not be admitted during the year owing to lack
of accommodation.
At the end of the year 281 cases were booked for future
admission to the Home.
