With regard to children who had previously been inspected by
the Dentists and found to require dental treatment, and whose
parents had not accepted such treatment, the following table shows
the percentage of acceptances of treatment as a result of the Dentist's Re-inspection.

Notices were issued to the parents requesting their attendance at the re-inspections.

In addition to these figures, the Dentist has carried out two
complete inspections of the children's teeth at the Open. Air School,
and all those referred for treatment, viz., 82, have received attention,
either by the School Dentists or elsewhere.

Group IV, on page 165.
(e) Treatment of Uncleanliness.—It was found necessary to
deal with 67 children under the Education Act, 1921, Section 87,
statutory notices being served on the parents. In 18 instances the
statutory notices not being complied with, the children were
brought to the School Clinic by the Nurse and cleansed.
