the ladies has carried on a clothing club since 1921, to which mothers
could contribute small sums weekly and withdraw the whole or part
of their contributions as necessity arose. During 1930, £5 16s. 2d.
was saved by 12 mothers.
Owing to the number of mothers attending the Valentines
Centre and to which I referred in my last report, arrangements were
made to transfer a portion of the Centre to a new Centre at Woodford
Avenue. This was opened on the 2nd July, 1930.
The Barkingside Welfare Centre was transferred to more
commodious premises at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Mossford Green,
on 5th January, 1931.
