There were 7 deaths of infants in the Home, from the following
causes:—
Prematurity (including twins) 4
Pulmonary atelectasis 1
Asphyxia Pallida and prolonged labour 1
Congenital atelectasis and pericardial
effusion (congenital) 1
One case of Puerperal Fever was notified. This case was
removed to Romford Infirmary, and made a good recovery.
