(d) Treatment of Uncleanliness.β€”It was found necessary to
deal with 56 children under the Education Act, 1921, Section 87,
statutory notices being served on the parents. In 21 instances the
statutory notices not being complied with, the children were
brought to the School Clinic by the Nurse and cleansed.
The School Nurses paid 172 visits to the schools (an average
of 10 visits to each school during the year), for the purpose of
inspecting the heads and clothing of the children, with the following
