The following complications occurred in the patients admitted:—
Rheumatism 9.0 per cent.
Albuminuria 6.3 per cent.
Adenitis 23.4 per cent.
Otitis 18.9 per cent.
Relapse 3.6 per cent.
Endocarditis .9 per cent.
Eight children were operated on for Adenoids, in order to clear
up a persistent nasal discharge which might be infectious.
