The number of residents during the year was 212, viz,
180 adults, and 32 children.
There were four children born in the buildings, equal
to a birth-rate of 18.8 per 1,000 and 8 deaths, 5 being those
of children under 5, were recorded, equal to a death-rate of
37.7 per 1,000.
The one infectious death from measles was equal to a
zymotic rate of 4.7 per 1,000.
One case of diphtheria was the only notification received.
