There was no body deposited on account of death due
to infectious disease, though there is a chamber set apart
for the reception of such cases.
Bye-laws as to Houses let in Lodgings.
(54 and 55 Vic., Cap. 76; Sec. 94, Sub-sec. 1.)
Section 94 sub-section 1 gives power to Sanitary
Authorities to make and enforce bye-laws as to houses let
in lodgings.
This section does not apply to Common LodgingHouses
within the meaning of the Common Lodging
Houses Act 1851 or any Act amending the same.

In this district the following 618 houses are registered under the Regulations made by your Board and confirmed by the Local Government Board in 1897.
