works executed by your Board during the year ending 25th March,
1879:—

The following macadamized roadways were recoated with broken
Guernsey granite, steam rollers being used to consolidate the granite
after it was spread:—
Russell Square (north-west corner).
Russell Square (south-east corner).
Bedford Place.
Montague Place.
Montague Street.
Bedford Square (east side).
Bedford Square (north-cast corner).
Bedford Square (south-east corner).
Brunswick Square.
Bernard Street (west end).
Marchmont Street (south end).
Chenies Street (west end).
The whole of the remaining macadamized roads in the District
were repaired, and their surfaces maintained in good order.
