Col. B, gives the number of inhabitants of other localities, who died in the same year in the Public Institutions of the Districts named ; these figures have to be subtracted from the Registered
Mortality, (See Appendix Table 2.) The population for 1860 is estimated from the Census of 1861, a well as on the basis of the two preceding Censuses.
