The figures in the above Table were obtained by personal inspection of the books of the several hospitals,
with the exception of those marked with a star, which are estimated from the returns of former years. The
number 5, in the column of the Westminster Hospital, should be 8 (Mr. Beale), and 61, under St, Mary's Hospital,
should be 44 (Dr.Thomson). There were no deaths among St, Giles's patients in the Small Pox Hospital
