LABORATORY FACILITIES.
The same facilities exist as detailed in previous reports
for the examination of specimens.
During 1942, 604 specimens were examined at tho East Ham
Memorial Hospital, and 19 pathological examinations were
carried out by the Counties Public Health Laboratories.
The number of Diphtheria swabs examined at the Infectious Diseases Hospital and the Town Hall Annexe Laboratory, was as follows:-

AMBULANCE FACILITIES.
The two Town Ambulances which formerly operated from the
Fire Station, wore handed over to the A.R.P. Ambulance Section
on tho outbreak of war and are now available at the Ambulance
dopot (Napier Road) Grange wood 3419.
Two Ambulances, in addition, are used for the removal of
infectious cases.
