O. School Meals:
Meals and milk are provided five days per week during term time,
and during holidays. In June, the number taking milk was
16,388. In September, by which time it was issued free, it was
taken by 20,880.
Of the 24,000 on the roll of attendance at school one day in October,
1946, 12,589 took dinner.
