1.—Includes Small-pox, Measles, Scarlet Fever, Diphtheria,
Whooping Cough "Fever" and Diarrhoea. Thirty of
the deaths took place in Hospitals).
3.—Includes Phthisis, Scrofula, and Tabes.
4.—Includes Atrophy and Debility, Want of Breast Milk, and
Premature Birth.
5.—Includes Hydrocephalus and Infantile Meningitis, Convulsions
and Teething. (In Table III, Hydrocephalus and Infantile
Meningitis are included with Tubercular Diseases, raising
the total deaths in Order 2 of Class '2 " Constitutional
Diseases" to 467.)
