Section 48(1) of the Act requires employers to submit, in th
approved form, reports of accidents to the enforcing authority of
employees who as a result of the accident are away from work for
more than 3 days, or which causes the death of an employee.
I am happy to report that during the period 1st August
31st December although 16 accidents were formally reported to this
Council, in the majority of instances the injuries were of a
relatively minor nature.
