Deaths from Cancer.
Of the total number of deaths, 316 were from Cancer (including five from
Sarcoma), being a similar number to the previous year. Of these, 186 occurred in
men and 130 in women. More than half the Cancer deaths (219) took place in
hospitals.
The following tables give details of Woolwich deaths from cancer during 1955
compared with previous years.
