BIRTHS.
During the year 2,392 births were registered in the
Borough; 1,226 were males and 1,166 females. Corrected
by outward and inward transfers, these numbers become
2,312, 1,170 and 1,142 respectively. The corrected figures
for the registration districts are shown in the following Table
No. 5.
