DEATHS OF CHILDREN 1-5 YEARS OF AGE.
The number of deaths of children between 1-2 years of
age was 24, and between 2-5, 27. In 1927 these figures were
21 and 29 respectively. The causes of death are given in
detail in Table No. 11.
The following Tables show the variation in the rates of
mortality in these age groups in five-yearly periods since
1911, and for the years 1926, 1927 and 1928.
