room. Closing orders were made in all cases. The

A closing Order made in 1926 in respect of premises at
69, New Road, was determined in 1927, as the premises
were converted into a lock-up shop.
Underground Sleeping Rooms. One underground room
was represented during the year and a closing order was
made by the Council.
Tents and Vans. The number of tents and vans in
Woolwich is almost negligible and bye-laws regulating the
use of these were made by the Council in 1903. All tents
and vans were regularly inspected during the year and steps
were taken to ensure that the bye-laws were observed. It was
necessary to serve notices for three offences.
