Sewers - "Maintenance Treatments".
I am informed by the Borough Engineer and Surveyor that two treatments
for the destruction of rats in sewers were carried out during the year, viz.
from 28th May to 14th August and from 26th November, 1956, to 14th February,
1957. 1,471 manholes were treated in each period.
