"Contacts."
Partly owing to the co-operation with the L.C.C. School Medical Officers,
it has proved possible to arrange for the examination of most of the "contacts."
There is still some difficulty in persuading the adults, particularly the
men, to be examined, but people are, as time goes on, becoming educated to
the value of early diagnosis in tuberculosis, and it is therefore gradually
proving possible to examine a larger percentage each year.
